Along with portraits and landscapes, my art often features personalities with the cars they owned, drove, were filmed with, wrote about in prose or song, or simply autos that symbolize an era. By staging figurative models with actual cars, each painting is developed from a design unique to my own vision, and enriched by exhaustive research and biographical study. Giclée prints are available of many of the paintings represented in the gallery. I welcome any inquiries and questions.

My gallery presents an array of portraiture, often combined with the cultural element of the automobile. I love the romanticism of automobile design; many of my acrylic paintings feature iconic personalities with the cars they owned, drove, appeared with in film, wrote about in prose or song, and in some cases simply a car of a certain era.

Creating art has been ever-present in my life, sometimes pairing it with supplemental income, as in the decade of the 1990’s when I was Jazz & Blues Department Manager at Tower Records upper west side megastore in NYC. The experience forever enriches my creative endeavors, in both a thematic way and client commissioned works. My art is in the collections of Tony Bennett, Casandra Wilson, Jon Faddis, the Dave Brubeck family, Christian McBride, Jay Geils, along with many collectors in the world of classic cars.

Please refer to the descriptions accompanying each painting as to the availability of the original (portfolio piece or commission, and/or sold).
Giclée prints are available of several pieces– info upon inquiry. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
