“Hold ‘Em In Harlem” Benefit Poker Tournament: This exciting event not only raises vital funds for CTH’s programs but also provides an opportunity for supporters to mix, mingle, and engage in friendly competition while supporting the arts. Tickets available at CTHNYC.ORG

July 6 – 28, 2024: (Free)
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”: Directed by Carl Cofield and set during the Harlem Renaissance, this free production at Marcus Garvey Park’s Richard Rodgers Amphitheater promises to enchant audiences with its reimagining of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy.

September 2024: (Free)
“Bryant Park Picnic Performance”: Bringing theater directly to the community, CTH’s free picnic performance in Bryant Park offers audiences a chance to enjoy the arts in a relaxed outdoor setting.

September 2024:
“Memnon” at The Getty Villa: In collaboration with The Getty Villa, CTH presents the world premiere of “Memnon,” a captivating production written by Will Power and directed by Carl Cofield. This epic tale explores Ethiopia’s king defending Troy, offering audiences a unique and immersive theatrical experience.

About Harlem Fine Arts Show:

The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) is a traveling exhibition that showcases contemporary paintings, sculpture, and photography, making it the largest touring African diaspora art show in the United States. Since its inception in 2009, HFAS has welcomed over 80,000 visitors, journeyed to more than 10 cities, and partnered with leading galleries and artists. HFAS serves as a platform for African diaspora artists, providing them with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork to a diverse audience. Through collaborations with various educational institutions, HFAS offers internships, scholarships, and contributes to the professional development of emerging artists.
