My particular brand of artistic expressions is connecting with the feel and the touch of the art experience. I use recycled acrylic paint chips more less silhouette end detailed textured look. It gives more life and body to the image. My specialty is abstract with vivid colors, emphasizing my African American cultural heritage.

Born in March of 1956 in Rome, New York, Matthew Lewis Davis Jr was raised and reared in both Syracuse and New York City . While in high school , I works for General Electric as a layout designer and detail draftsman. Upon my completion in high school continued my higher education at Syracuse University majoring in Psychology and Social Work . Later completing my Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology concentrated in Academic Counseling from Atlanta University.

“The Art of Healing , Through Positive Imagery”

Through my love for the arts and humanities, particularly how we connect with each other in a more positive and fulfilling manner . Painting or the appreciation of fine art creates a different type of energy that helps ease the pain of the human psyche.

Regardless of theme, ranging from Jazz to Landscape, the imagery will focus on the most positive aspects of our human existence. Throughout our daily existence, sometimes we fail to enjoy the best or the positive connection with others within our community, to allow the essence of who we are to become.

As an African-American male ,it is important to continue the legacy of sharing my life experience in the most positive manner, that Will enhances our kinship with one another.
